Women Human Rights Defenders (WHRDs) in the MENA & Asia regions advocate for human rights and equality at great risk to their safety and security. They face arrest, threats, and even assassination in the course of their work.
On International WHRD Day, we express our solidarity with all WHRDs and pay tribute to those killed while trying to protect the rights of others.
